Duties and responsibilities will vary from time totime and the post holder will be expected to perform other such duties that arereasonably comparable. The post holder must adhere to Company health, safetyand environmental policies at all times; maintain a safe working environmentand ensure work activities are safe.
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
Manage a team to plan and deliver a full food menu within a number of areas to required standard.
Liaise with Executive Chef and Management regarding, what is required in their designated areas of control.
Manager the delivery of a full menu within multiple areas to required specification within allocated time and budget.
Supervise and manage all subordinates to ensure they are fully compliant and knowledgeable within their designated work area.
Produce and deliver to required standards ensuring all costs are considered for labour,food and disposable orders, portion control and hot plate wastage.
Responsible for recruiting & developing team, monitoring performance of staff using appropriate measures and timely feedback.
Checks food quality and ensures food production is in line with departmental specifications, bringing any concerns to the attention of the Head Chef or Senior Head Chef.
Ensure Food Safety requirements are met by you, your direct reports and those working within your areas of responsibility in accordance with Amadeus food safety policy and procedures liaising with Amadeus Food and Safety Support Department where necessary.
To ensure you, your direct reports and those others working within your areas of responsibility do so in accordance with current, applicable health & safety/ fire safety legislation and group health & safety policies, procedures and arrangements.
To implement and manage those group health & safety / fire safety policies,procedures and arrangements as applicable to your work activities and working environment.
Ensure Amadeus system are utilised effectively this includes responsibility that all data in the systems is entered correctly and incorrect data is reported to the Business Systems Team.
