Amadeus, multi award winning caterers are a division of The NEC Group with 40 years of experience dealing with venue and event operations. We have a reputation for outstanding food and currently have a position available for an experienced Deputy Head Chef who enjoys delivering first class food.

This full time position is ideal for a forward thinking chef who wishes to increase their knowledge of food and progress his/her career within Amadeus. Previous experience is essential, ideally working for a large contract caterer, hotel group or event caterer delivering a wide range of food offers.
Team work, good time management and having a flexible approach to work in a 7 day week operation (weekends/late nights) is essential, along with the ability to meet deadlines and deliver exceptional customer service.
Qualifications and Experience required:
Hold NVQ level 1, 2 and 3 or City and Guilds 706/1 and 706/2.
Qualified to level 3 intermediate Food Safety.
Hold a recognised health and safety qualification (IOSH).
Minimum 3 - 5 years' experience as deputy head chef in a similaroperation.
Minimum 2 to 3 years as a manager in a full service (table service withfull bar) restaurant.
Be computer literate and be willing to undertake training to learn theIT systems.
Have a can do attitude, high energy and be adaptable to change.
Possess strong leadership and communication skills.
Be customer focused and able to deliver excellent service.
Be dependable, reliable, and motivated.
