Catering Operations Manager Amadeus Catering at BWUH
Amadeus Catering are seeking an experienced and talented Catering Operations Manager to manage our multi skilled team at the Belfast Waterfront and Ulster Hall.

Your role would be to manage the day-to-day operations of two venues which include Waterfront Auditorium, Waterfront Studio and newly opened Waterfront Exhibition centre as well as the Ulster Hall.
Operating fixed and temporary catering for all trade and consumer shows across the venues that can range from 1000 covers STAB to Retail Catering, 2500 covers Auditorium events, 2600 covers Standing Concerts or 3000 Conferences.
Flexibility,forward planning, communication and logistics will play a major part in the role as you will move from area to area working varying shifts depending on the event and catering offer.
You will be operational and be responsible for workforce teams of between 50 and 250 staff with a Food & Beverage Manager and the Conference &Banqueting department reporting into you.
Team development will be critical as you will be required to proactively manage resources in a busy and often changing environment operating a team that manage café bars, exhibitor catering, mobile catering solutions and large live events up to 2500 visitors.
Your role will be based between Belfast Waterfront and Ulster Hall. Belfast Waterfront is the base home environment with a management team of 5 and a multiple team of shift leaders. You will be responsible for liaising with the culinary team on maintaining the front and back of house catering environment,equipment, staff facilities and all relevant health and safety and food hygiene regulations.
You will also liaise with the venue on a daily and weekly basis in Event Planning meetings and substitute for the General Manager in his absence when required.
Financial forecasting, staffing, stock control and adapting your resources to the potential increase or decrease of catering demand of the assigned shows and catering areas will be a key responsibility.
